Clipping Mask (PS Elements)

CLIPPING MASK ON PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS

In this tutorial will show you how to apply the "clipping mask" method using Photoshop Elements software. This method is presented in depth on the "Clipping Mask" tutorial here.

What you have to do is to open the template and then the image that you want to use. Drag the image over the template and release the mouse button once the template become active on the foreground. Now to simplify the things, before dragging be sure that the "photo" layer where you want to place the image is selected.

Once the image is a part of the template as a new layer, place the layer (by dragging under the layers palette) right on top of the "photo" layer.

With the selection on the image layer, do the "magic" key combination: CTRL(Command)+G

DONE!

To release the clipping mask, select the layer and do Ctrl(Command)+Shift+G
